Step 3: Essay Questions

All BES Fellowship applicants should respond to Essay Questions 1-5 below.  National Fellow applicants only should respond to Essay Question 6 in addition to Essay Questions 1-5. It is recommended that applicants compose their responses in a separate document before copying and pasting text into the appropriate boxes.  There are no word number requirements for any essay question.
